CNN —Using acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, during pregnancy was not associated with increased risk of autism, ADHD or intellectual disability in children, a new study found. “This is a very extensive and well-designed study that found no association between acetaminophen use and neurodevelopmental impairment, including autism and ADHD,” he said. For example, the study found that parents who have neurodevelopmental disorders — which have strong heritability — are also more likely to use pain medications, like acetaminophen, during pregnancy. This relationship might make it seem like children who are exposed to acetaminophen during pregnancy are more likely to develop neurodevelopmental disorders, when, in fact, their increased risk is due to genetics, according to the study. The study found significant differences between birthing parents with higher acetaminophen use and those with lower or no use.

CNN —Everyone poops, but it turns out we don’t all need to poop every day. It’s helpful to know what your poop looks like in addition to just how often you poop. But if you’re excessively straining when trying to poop or feeling like you haven’t totally emptied your bowel, you may need to make changes to either poop more often or have healthier stool quality, experts said. But if we’re stressed, hormones and nervous system changes can prevent poop from moving toward the rectum, resulting in constipation. But don’t delay — the right time to poop is when you’re feeling the urge to do so, experts said.

New York CNN —Oracle (ORCL) founder Larry Ellison is reaping the benefits of artificial intelligence popularity, edging past Microsoft (MSFT) founder Bill Gates to land the number four spot on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index on Monday, according to Bloomberg. Ellison is now the world’s fourth-richest person, with a staggering $129.8 billion net worth, Bloomberg reported. He just squeaked past Gates, whose net worth — Bloomberg reported — is currently $129.1 billion. Ellison is the largest stockholder in Oracle and owns approximately 42.9% of its shares, a 2022 SEC proxy statement said. Five years later, they renamed their company “Oracle” after their software.
